Felix Thorne is an alternative pop artist with a background in musical theatre and advanced vocal technique. Influenced by artists such as Kate Miller Hiedke, Sara Bareilles, Tori Amos and the crooning sounds of Gavin De Graw- Felix’s songwriting is unabashedly honest, raw and theatrical.

Bursting into Melbourne’s contemporary live music scene with the release of her long awaited 2021 EP The F Word, Felix and her live band left audiences captivated by a dynamic performance at their sold out Open Studio EP launch.

Infused with an idiosyncratic brand of dry humour, The F Word is a collection of songs that traverse emotional themes of friendships falling out, family turbulence, deep feeling and introspection.
 

As an artist with a natural, strong sense of self, Felix aims to empower young people to express and accept themselves from an early age. 

Felix Thorne performs live across Melbourne’s inner north, supported by her band: Dave Oxley (guitar), Trent McKenzie (bass) and Sean Figgers (drums).
